In a beautiful flat renovated and furnished by Giandomenico Belotti in the 1980s, the owners wanted to make a few adjustments without any major changes.
After much deliberation, the choice fell on opening a small fixed window in the bedroom (in place of an old air conditioner) on the courtyard side and, above all, on redoing the bathrooms.
It is worth remembering how a bathroom can be as much an object of refined design today as it was in the past, when architects dealt more easily with buildings and bathrooms were well-kept, but with a certain concise practicality.
In this case, there were also beautiful pieces of furniture (to be completed and supplemented) designed by the architect from Bergamo. It was therefore a matter of redesigning the bathrooms, using the existing furniture, designing new ones and, of course, raising the level of tiling, taps and fittings. The result was very successful, and it is curious how the whole house benefited from this intervention.
