Milan, Italy - Architectural design and construction management for the renovation of the offices of Studio Pugliese Proactiva in Via Olmetto - 2013

Palazzo Brivio Sforza is located in Via Olmetto, in the historic centre of Milan.
On the first floor, which is accessible by the grand staircase, some units have been renovated to accommodate a professional studio. The work, which is very constrained by the pre-existences, has however allowed the spaces to be substantially transformed and closer to the present (and partly future) needs of the client. The image proposed, and shared, is cozy and elegant, and played on neutral materials and colours: the oak flooring (largely recovered) the sand coloured walls in the corridor, used also on one wall for each office, the light grey “egg skin” for the other walls. The beige-coloured glossy doors are flush mounted on the inside walls of the offices, so that the corridor is interrupted by the slightly set-back door openings without frames and covers. Other details such as the internal entrance door, the glassed-in waiting room, the office furniture, and the bathrooms contribute to a sober but highly personalised environment. 15 artworks by artist Tiziana Priori are exhibited in the studio.
