A building of imposing dimensions, consisting of 9 external floors in addition to the basements, located in via Curtatone, was the subject of an inspection to ascertain its suitability to host RAI’s offices.
There were some architectural constraints to be respected, such as the pitch of the windows and the depth of the building, with an area of the first floor subject to constraints.
The objectives were functional and included a more efficient distribution of internal routes, the need to introduce at least two new staircase/elevator groups, a rethinking of the closed offices in terms of numbers and size, and the introduction of the currently absent open space.
These requirements are fulfilled as project prerequisites due to the complex nature of the company and its management organisation.
