The need to create an external smoking area annexed to the office building was the premise for the conception and construction of an architectural element in line with the pre-existences, but with an autonomous language composed of a few and recognizable structural elements.
The supporting structure, consisting of two painted iron tubulars, is connected to the existing pillars of the building and rests on the external perimeter of the terrace on the opposite side.
The horizontal covering plane consists of a large covered area in sheet metal panels and a brise soleil made of tubular seats placed longitudinally. On the lower level of the roof a false ceiling contains the secondary structures and lighting.
